Урок англ.мови в 1 класі "Colours"


Subject of the lesson. Colours. Our world is colourful.
Objectives:
Educational
-      to revise the grammar structure “I have got”;
-      to revise the material of the topic "My Toys";
-      to acquaint  pupils with new vocabulary (names of colours);
-      to revise earlier learning letters;
-      to acquaint pupils with letters Oo, Pp.
Practical
-      to provide usage new vocabulary in oral speech;
-      to teach pupils to write new letters;
-      to activate pupil's speaking skills;
-      to develop reading skills.
Cognitive
-      to develop pupil's intellectual activities according to the topic;
-      to get pupils know more and more.
Social
-      to bring up respect for the interlocutor.
Student’s objectives at the end of the lesson: to learn the names of colours, to use it in oral speech, to learn new letters
Equipment: text-book, work-book, songs, videos, picture of Mr.Tongue, sounds, flash-cards, pictures, cards

The procedures of the lesson
I.      Beginning of the lesson (6 minutes)
·        Greeting
Good morning to you (2)
We are all in our places
With sunshiny faces
Good morning to you. (2)
   I am happy to see you with your sunshiny faces.
   Let’s sing a song “What is your name?”
·        Phonetic warm-up
Today Mr.Tongue visits our lesson again. Let’s greeting him.
-         Good morning Mr. Tongue!
He wants to tell us his story.
Mr.Tongue goes to the river and throws little stones into the water [p-p-p]. Repeat after me [p-p-p]. He is very pleased [o-o-o], [ǝυ-ǝυ-ǝυ]. Repeat after me [o-o-o], [ǝυ-ǝυ-ǝυ].

·        Lexical warm-up
Look at the board. What toys do you see? (Children name the toys)

The topic of our lesson is “Our world is colourful”
Look. What do you see? It is coloured balloons.
·        Presentation new material (3 minutes)
I have got a red balloon. My balloon is red. Repeat after me: red – red balloon – have got a red balloon – I have got a red balloon…
Look, listen and repeat. (video “Colours and vegetables”)
Red – red strawberry
Orange – orange tangerine
Yellow – yellow lemon
Green – green kiwi
Blue – blue plum
Purple – purple grapes

·        Practicing new material (3 minutes)
Look at the picture of the rainbow. Name the colours.
The game “Yes/No”
Now let’s play a game. Look at our rainbow. Guess my colour.
Are you ready? Here we go.

Go to the board and glue it on the grass. Say, what colour is your flower?
